The dental technicians federation Confartigianato Odontotecnici of Udine has organized an event to celebrate the European Dental Technicians Day, on the topic of sustainable and efficient use of new digital technologies.
The event took place on Friday 7 June 2019 at 2.30 pm at the premises of Friuli Innovazione, in Via Jacopo Linussio
The possibility of using low-cost software for prosthesis modelling has been explored.
Mr Rosso Rienzi, together with the other participants to the conference, visited the 3D printing laboratory for metal powder melting in the premises to understand how this process could be used by dental laboratories.
The laboratory of virtual surgical planning and 3D printing founded by Mr Massimo Robiony was presented.
The event gave the opportunity to delve into topics like certification of prostheses made by additive manufacturing (3D printing) and manufacturers' liability. Among the participants, some of the greatest Italian experts in the field.
